GLUTEN-FREE DATE SLICE

When we were testing this recipe, we all agreed it reminded us of our childhood.

Was it the coconut, the dates, the golden syrup, the lovely sweet and chewy texture or did it just remind us of that lovely smell of sweet baking in the family kitchen.

Whatever the trigger and with this week being Coeliac Awareness week and coeliac disease effecting many children as well as adults we thought we’d offer a recipe for young and old.

Our Chewy Date Slice is a very simple but delicious recipe which everyone will love. From grandchildren to grandparents, if you can hold a spatula you can make it.
