When this photograph was taken recently we were enjoying dinner together, which we rounded up with a lovely Cherry and Ricotta Tart.

What a difference a week makes! Now that we’re all involved in social distancing, we’re reminded of all the wonderful relationships and friendships we share and the closeness we normally take for granted.

These are far from normal times, however, and we can only wish for a speedy return to the good old days.

In the meantime, we hope to stay close to you through our regular blogs, and to help keep our collective spirits up by continuing to share good cooking and good food.

We do still need to eat!

And just in case you manage to get your hands on some cherries, we’ll post the Cherry and Ricotta Tart recipe later in the week.
